I've not really been in the "sharing" mood lately. Had a couple of stressful weeks including three job interviews and absolutely no progress in securing a new job. BUT-at least I have one right now. Even though sometimes it pains me to actually go there. Luckily I participated in some theater productions in high school. That's where I get my superb acting skills. And it's working, so I'm holding steady right now.
I continue to read and be absolutely enthralled with the Stephenie Meyer vampire book series. Don't knock it unless you've at least TRIED to read it. I too thought "Vampires? I'm over that Bram Stoker's Dracula Phase!" But it's very readable, entertaining and there's nothing on tv. At least for another week or so. I'm glad I'm on the last book in the series, just in time for season premieres.
I've also really missed the gym in all of its freakish glory. Not only do I feel better when I go, it's just extremely entertaining. It never gets old. It's like going to the state fair and counting mullets and rat-tails. I never doubt something unusual or intriguing will occur. EXAMPLE:
1. I get on the elliptical (where most of these things happen) and there is a guy who is literally 6' 7" next to me who has the machine on the highest incline possible. Therefore he seems as if he might be a whole person taller than me. But I'm not gonna hate....Andre the Giant has to work out too. I am just not sure how comfortable that was though...
2. If you've ever been to an American Family Fitness, you'll notice they have their own
station. They have bios of the people who work there and ads and then......there's the
videos. I would say it's about 10% mainstream music and 90% Who the hell is that?
Apparently there is some girl named Kary White or something sassy like that who has a
song called "Baditude" on Toolbox Records (not kidding). The only thing I can think while I
watch (because I listen to my ipod and do not subject myself to this nonsense) is who paid
for all that? Videos are expensive! Decent videos are even more expensive. Someone paid
so that we could really get the full affect of her "Baditude".
It's looking to be a busy September, so I'll try to be more proactive in my blogging.
Sometimes there's just too much in my head....and plenty of Gigs to transfer it to.

Sizzlin' Summer Stories...
Not really. Lists are easier. Here's what's been goin' down in the world 'o J Dawg
1. I have seen other, much better movies since the Mama Mia debacle. The Dark Knight and Stepbrothers made up for it in leaps and bounds.

2. We just went to Nags Head and had a fabulous time with Matt's family. I am so thankful that I have an extended family to hang out with. The weather was great, too.
3. I am dreading work tomorrow and praying for a new job before the end of the month.
4. I am going to be 30 in about four weeks.
5. I think that's great (see number 4).
6. I am still trying to decide whether or not to spend money on Redskins tickets.
7. I have a new purse.

8. I think if you are female and you haven't read Twilight or any of the books that follow, you should stop everything and go get this. I literally could not stop myself from finishing this book. It was like crack.
